š Fees for Doula Services
Below is listed the prices and packaging available for my clients. In consideration of clients for whom this fee presents a hardship. I will waive a portion of the fee, as established in my sliding fee scale. All fees are for any distance within 30miles of Des Moines, IA. There are long distance packages available for locations beyond that. First consultation is always FREE.
*Health savings accounts do often cover doula services. Please check out the "Insurance Coverage" section
Birth Package - $650

Long Distance Silver - $725
- Initial FREE consultation
- One prenatal visit
- Assistance in writing your wish list/birth plan if desired.
- Telephone and e-mail support as needed during pregnancy and for two weeks following your birth.
- Labor support at the hospital as described above
- 24 hour on call assistance during your due birth month (38-42weeks)
- Providing Resources and/or referrals
Massage Package - $750

Long Distance Platinum - $825
​ - Initial FREE consultation
- One prenatal visit
- Assistance in writing your wish list/birth plan if desired.
- Telephone and e-mail support as needed during pregnancy and for two weeks following your birth.
- Labor support at the hospital as described above
- 24 hour on call assistance during your due birth month (38-42weeks)
- Providing Resources and/or referrals
- Birth Photography with a complete edited cd and a copyright waver
- 2 One hour prenatal massages by a licensed massage therapist in
West Des Moines, IA
Postpartum Support/Laction Consultation - Provided by Basking Babies, LLC
*Angela Swieter, RN, BSN, IBCLC, ICD, ICPE, ICPD
$100 when included with any of the above packages.
- In home postpartum care for both mom and baby
- 2 weeks of e-mail/text/phone support
- Baby care
- Mom care
- Feeding with lacation consultation
$175 is to be paid when you select me as your doula and sign this contract. This fee is a non-refundable deposit.
The remaining balance is to be paid at the second prenatal visit-before your due date,
or 36 weeks, whichever date is earliest.
